Occasionally I sell my demo models. Here is some information on what to expect when buying a demo coil or sling.
My demo models have been used for photoshoots, as trial coils for fairs and the like, and occasionally as tester coils that have been lent to private individuals.
THE ADVANTAGE OF DEMO MODELS
If you are a beginner, it can be an advantage to choose a demo model, rather than a new coil. When you buy a demo model, your coil or sling is ready for use, and it will often also be more or less used. Once a wrap has taken place, the fibers in the fabric are soft and pliable. The "hard work" of wrapping is therefore done for you. Therefore, you will also see that the price of my demo models is often not lower than my brand new coils.
WASH
My demo wraps have had the first wash, which is necessary for the fibers to set correctly and for the wrap not to be damaged in use. But I don't wash my demo models again before they ship. When wraps and slings are washed, the fabric becomes a little harder again, and must be worked on - not all over again - but they require just a little work to become just as soft again. Therefore, I leave it up to you whether you want your new demo wrap to be washed on arrival.
ALLERGY
Do you have a severe allergy to e.g. fur animals, please write to me before buying a demo wrap or sling, as some (not all) of them have been tested in private homes. My wraps and slings are never lent to smoking homes.

To summarize, the benefits are the following:
- Loomstate washing is not necessary
- No waiting time. Can be used immediately.
- Often softer than a brand new wrap/sling
- Easier to tie (depending on how used it has been)
