Eik Old Friend embraces you with its incredible softness and black elegance. Old Friend is not only soft but also incredibly easy to wrap with, and it stays exactly where you place it.

The wrap is woven in two shades of black - discreet enough for the wrap to appear completely black, while still allowing the beautiful oak leaf pattern to be seen.

The high proportion of merino wool makes Old Friend plush and luxurious to wear - you can almost feel the cushions on your shoulders. The wool is not superwash-coated, thus retaining 100% of its temperature-regulating properties. Eik Old Friend is a relatively thick wrap, making it wonderful for carrying heavy (or multiple) children with ease. However, it's not recommended for very small newborns - a thinner wool wrap like Eik Golden Days would be more suitable in that case.

Your own clothing size for the upper body determines which size you should use.

XS or smaller: Size 5
S-L: Size 6
XL-XXL: Size 7
3XL+: Size 8

With a wrap in your size, you can tie a Front Wrap Cross Carry (often abbreviated as FWCC). Size 4 and shorter wraps are used for carries that don't require as much fabric.

Wash & Care

Use detergent for wool.
Wash on a dedicated wool program at 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit) with low spin (Handwashing recommended).
Dry flat.
Never tumble dry.
Iron on low-medium heat.
Must be washed before first use. Read instructions here
